Our Mission Statement

To equip youth with the tools, experiences, and support needed to navigate their future with competence, confidence, and heart.

The M.A.R.C.C. Academy, Inc. supports and accompanies high school students in St. Lucie County on their journey to adulthood.

Mentorship

Teens will have the opportunity to be: Mentees guided by our amazing volunteers. Mentors to elementary and middle school students.

Adult-

Teens will participate in recurring “Adulting 101” sessions that address practical life skills.

Readiness

Adult-readiness skills such as Stress management, Self-care, Budgeting, Social Capital, Credit, prioritizing, Healthy Relationships, Networking, Character, Balance, Values, and Style.

Community

Teens will receive experiential introductions to various local organizations that will allow them to establish a network of resources, learn the strengths and deficits of their community, and understand and feel that their role and voice in the community is relevant, valued, and needed.

Connection

Provided safe, welcoming, judgment-free space in which tends can connect with peers from over 10 different high schools at their own pace, typically resulting in beautiful new friendships!

Grow their confidence

Through paired reading sessions, teens build confidence as they lead and inspire younger children, fostering curiosity and early reading skills. This role helps teens grow as mentors and role models, strengthening their self-assurance, leadership, and readiness for future challenges.

Activities they work on together

Community volunteering unites teens in meaningful impact, building teamwork, empathy, and resilience. Together, they tackle projects, assist nonprofits, and gain practical skills, growing as compassionate leaders while strengthening their bond and sense of purpose through shared accomplishments.
